By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site.
1. Services Offered
Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy provides information and booking options for reflexology and massage therapy services, including but not limited to:

Reflexology (Foot reflexology, Preconception & pregnancy reflexology)
Massage Therapy (Deep tissue / remedial massage, Hot stones massage, Indian Head massage)

These services are intended for relaxation and wellness and are not a substitute for medical treatment.

2. Commitment to clients
​
All treatments provided by Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy will last for the specified duration purchased. i.e. a 60-minute treatment will last 60 minutes. Clients who arrive late for their appointment or who wish to finish their session early must pay in full and cannot expect any missed time to be made up outside of their allocated time slot.
​
All new clients will be required to complete a consultation form prior to their treatment, typically sent out by email. This will enable Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy to find out more about your needs and how to tailor a treatment for you in advance. If any of the information provided on the consultation form changes, you must inform Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy prior to the commencement of any treatments.

Treatments will only be conducted if Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy deems the treatment safe for the client to receive.
​
Clients presenting with symptoms of acute infection or illness on the day of their session will be unable to receive treatment, both for their own protection and that of the therapist. Examples include a heavy cold, flu, stomach upset, high temperature and the sudden onset of a severe headache.
​
GP / Consultant permission may be required before treatments can be provided.
​
Clients with disabilities must discuss their support needs with Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy prior to booking a treatment.
​
Treatment provide by Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy should not be used in place of conventional medical care. Always consult your GP or a healthcare professional for medical attention and advice. Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy is not a qualified general medical practitioner, and any views or opinions expressed on topics outside of her acknowledged training should be treated purely as that and must not be acted upon before consulting your own GP or healthcare professional.

Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy does not assume or accept responsibility for a clients’ healthcare needs. Any therapies you may undertake are done so voluntarily by you.

3. Appointments and Cancellations
​
A booking is confirmed once Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy and the client have both agreed a date and time for a treatment.
​
Cancellations can be made by email, telephone or SMS text. I understand that sometimes it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Please give me sufficient notice.
​
A 50% fee will be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24hrs notice. Missed appointments or failure of notice (except in emergency situations) will incur a full cancellation fee of your appointment cost.
​
Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill.
​
Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is intoxicated or inebriated. Payment for the treatment will still be due.
​
Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy commits to rearranging treatments to a new time and date within two weeks of the cancelled treatment where possible.
​
4. Vouchers
​
Gift Vouchers can be used as payment towards any available, advertised treatments.
​
Vouchers are only valid up to and including the expiry date.
​
Refunds are not available for vouchers already paid for and issued.
​
5. Payment
​
Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy accepts payment in cash, by card, or bank transfer.
​
Invoices will be sent to clients who do not pay for, or who cancel, treatments.
​
Invoices must be paid within 7 days of the issue date.
​
6. Service Etiquette
​
My services are offered to women clients only (males by referral). Under Section 35 Subsection 2 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 is permissible and legitimate to provide a single-sex service where physical contact is involved. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1975/65/enacted

Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy has the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or sexual behaviour.
​
Payment will be collected for the full treatment price, provided more than 10 minutes has been spent massaging the client.
​
If the therapist is unable to collect money before leaving, an invoice will be sent to the client’s address.
​
All invoices must be paid within 7 days of issue date.
​
7. Good Practice Policy
​
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) which demonstrates that I have a nationally recognised Diploma in Reflexology.
As an AoR member:
I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.
​
I follow the AoR Good Practice Policy and hygiene guidance to ensure client safety.
​
I will always be adequately insured for medical malpractice /professional indemnity requirements.
​
I comply with the AoR Continuing Professional Development requirements which ensures my practice is kept up to date.
​
I am compliant with GDPR data protection. Your information will remain confidential at all times.
​
As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist with MAR status, I will provide you with the appropriate bespoke treatment and support. I offer other therapies in addition to Reflexology. I provide all therapies to the same high standard expected by the AoR for Reflexology.

8. Privacy
​
Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
​

​
Consultation Forms and treatment notes will be kept on file, securely by Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy.
​
All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy treatments.
​
By signing the consultation form, clients are giving Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy permission to hold records and data about them.
​
Personal information will not be shared with any third parties.
​
Young Clients
Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
​
The adult must give permission for the treatment to be performed.
​
The adult must co-sign the client’s consultation form.
​
The adult must be present in the room throughout the treatment.
​
9. Liability Waiver
​
By using our services, you agree that Zara Austin Reflexology & Massage Therapy is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur as a result of your use of our services. You assume full responsibility for any health issues that may arise during or after your session.

10. Changes to Terms
​
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this Site. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
